The charity has a wide remit which includes;
- Education via the ASPIRE after school club for young children, as well as regular programs for older children and adults such as language classes.
- Health via the “ASPIRE to Health” initiative aimed at improving the local attitudes to health and providing easily accessible facilities and advice on how to improve
- Women’s issues, including classes and events about health awareness, cooking and sewing classes
- Spiritual development via the Dawah group, for both men and women.
We aim to improve the health and social inequalities in the local area by working with other local groups such as Calderdale Council, the Communities Foundation, The Al Ajar Foundation and others
In particular we aim to use our resources in a manner sensitive to the cultural and religious needs of the group of people in the area we work..
